"The Year of Harold: A Centennial Celebration"

The Mayor Harold Washington Legacy Committee designated all of the year 2022 "The Year of Harold: A Centennial Celebration" to commiserate Harold Washington's 100th birthday, which is April 15, 2022.  Many organizations and individuals are planning to sponsor events during that period to honor Harold Washington and to call attention to his centennial birthday.  We invite all to join us.
